Regarding the status of shipments

In my last UpdateBlog, I reported on two schedule plans (current plan and backup plan).
Of the two plans, the current plan, I checked the adjusted parts selected by the LCD window manufacturer and found that the percentage of parts that were OK according to our criteria was about 7%, not much different from what we are using now.

Based on the above results, we moved to the backup plan.

However, the LCD windows that were found to be OK through this verification can be used without any problem, so we will resume production of around 30 ELZ_1 play units.

It will take some time to recondition the LCD windows under the backup plan, but our Chinese supplier will ship new samples to our headquarters in Japan today or tomorrow.

The samples will probably arrive in Japan around Wednesday to Thursday of next week.

We will be able to check the quality immediately, and if there are no quality problems, we will place the order immediately.
According to the local supplier, the manufacturing of LCD windows itself is expected to take about one week.

However, this one week is based on the assumption that everything goes smoothly, and we expect that the new LCD windows will arrive between March 6 and March 13.

Since the assembly of the parts other than the LCD windows can proceed at the plant in Malaysia, we will proceed with the plan to resume production from the week of March 11.

Once this problem is resolved, we expect to be able to produce about 15 units per day.



For the next two weeks, we expect to complete about 20% of the total shipments by using the LCD windows that were previously approved and producing and shipping small quantities at a time.

If we are able to produce 15 units per day starting the week of March 11 as planned above, we will begin shipping from the week of March 18, and hope to complete shipping all orders by the week of April 8.

出荷状況につきまして

いつも応援してくださり誠にありがとうございます。

前回のUpdateBlogで２つの日程プラン（カレントプランとバックアッププラン）について報告致しましたが、その内、カレントプランである、LCD窓メーカーが選別した調整済みパーツを確認したところ、弊社基準でOKとなる割合が約7％程度と大きく変わりませんでした。

上記の結果を受け、バックアッププランに移行しました。

また、本確認を通してOKとなったLCD窓に関して（30台程度）は、生産を再開致します。

バックアッププランでのLCD窓の再調整は少し時間がかかりますが、中国のサプライヤが日本本社へ本日か明日、新しいサンプルを発送する予定です。

サンプルが日本に到着するのは、恐らく来週の水曜～木曜くらいになると思います。

確認自体はすぐに出来るので、品質に問題なければ直ぐに発注致します。
現地サプライヤの説明では、LCD窓の製造自体は１週間程度を予定しております。

但し、この１週間というのは、スムーズに言った場合だと想定しておき、新LCD窓が到着するのは3月6日～3月13日程度ではないかと予想しております。

マレーシアの工場ではLCD窓以外の部分の組み立ては進められるので、3月11日の週から生産を再開する予定で進めておきます。

この問題が解決すれば１日に15台程度は生産できる見込みでおります。

 

今後２週間は、先のOKとなったLCD窓を使用し少量ずつ生産と出荷をし、全体の20％程度の出荷が完了する見込みです。

上記の予定通り、3月11日の週から1日に15台生産が可能になった場合、3月18日の週から順次出荷をし、4月8日の週には全注文への出荷を完了したいと考えております。
