Regarding the status of shipments

This week, we continue to ship small quantities of ELZ_1 play, which was produced with LCD windows that have been screened and found to be OK.

The remade LCD windows arrived at the Malaysian factory on March 26.

The Malaysian factory has resumed production of ELZ_1 play since March 27.

As of yesterday, the factory reported that they have completed mounting the components and writing the firmware to the boards for the current 120 units.

However, they have not yet conducted a single unit as far as assembly and QC inspections are concerned, so we have not yet been able to measure production speed.

We are inquiring with the factory to see if recovery is possible since the factory has started production a few days later than we had anticipated. However, to be honest, we are not planning to shorten the schedule unreasonably, because it would be a total disaster if we rush the factory too much and cause other problems. I apologize for that.

The factory will probably prepare some preliminary work this week, so we expect the factory to start assembly of ELZ_1 play into the case and inspection by QC next week.

After a few days of assembly & inspection at the Malaysian factory, we would like to re-estimate when the shipment will be completed.

I will report any changes on this blog as necessary.

 

We will proceed with production as quickly as possible, but there may be changes to the schedule depending on the situation.

出荷状況につきまして

いつも応援してくださり誠にありがとうございます。

今週も引き続き選別済みのOKとなったLCD窓を使用し生産したELZ_1 playを少量ずつ出荷しております。

作り直したLCD窓は3/26に工場に到着しました。

3/27より生産を再開しています。
昨日の時点で現状120台分の基板への部品のマウントとファームウェアの書き込みが完了した状態であるとの報告が工場からありました。

ですが、組み立てとQCによる検査に関してはまだ１台も実施できていない状態ですので、生産速度の計測には至っておりません。

想定していたよりも数日遅れているのでリカバリー可能か工場に問い合わせていますが、正直なところ、あまり焦らせて他の問題が起きると本末転倒なので、無理な短縮は考えておりません。申し訳ございません。

恐らく今週ある程度の下準備が整うはずですので、来週には組み立てとQCによる検査が開始されると思います。

マレーシア工場での組み立て＆検査を数日実施してみて、出荷完了時期を再度見積もりたいと思います。

変更あった際は随時、本ブログにて報告致します。

なるべく最速で生産が進むように進めますが、状況に応じて日程に変更が生じる可能性があります。
